Built by one person.
For everyone.

Auric exists because the tools that already existed weren’t good enough.

The LT · Easby Studios

I make music as The LT and build software as Easby Studios. Auric started as a frustration: every sample manager I tried was either too simple, too slow, or designed for a workflow that wasn’t mine.

So I built one from scratch. C++20 and JUCE 8 on macOS, SQLite FTS5 for instant search across 500k+ files, signalsmith-stretch DSP for real-time time-stretching and pitch-shifting, and an in-house similarity engine for finding related sounds.

Auric is the tool I wanted to exist. I use it every day. That’s why it keeps getting better.

Easby Studios

What we stand for

A one-person creative and engineering studio with a simple approach.

Independent

No investors, no roadmap driven by committee. Auric evolves based on real creative needs — mine and yours.

Transparent

Architecture documented openly. Issues tracked publicly on GitHub. Support answered personally.

Quality-first

Auric ships only when it’s right. Lock-free audio engine, ASan/TSan clean, zero memory leaks.

Under the hood

The stack

Proprietary engine built on trusted open-source components.
